Forget all the talk about golf and its rules. Unless you're planning to jump straight into a competition or aspire to being a pro, you don't need them. In the beginning, you don't even need a golf club as we've got plenty of those. All you need is a desire to give golf a go. A sense of humour helps but that's more so you can laugh at our bad jokes and nothing related to the game of golf.
Whether your aim is to get fit (golf burns around 350 calories an hour!), meet friends or try something new, Farleigh is the club for you with golf and general fitness sessions available.
Coronavirus Update - 23rd February
Farleigh Golf Club is currently closed under national lockdown restrictions.
Following the government announcement on 22nd February, we are planning to reopen the golf courses on Monday 29th March.
We are just seeking clarification from England Golf and other relevant industry bodies on how we are expected to safely operate upon reopening and the implications of various aspects, including playing, coaching, retail, driving range and our practice facilities.
The tee sheet remains closed for the time being.
