Whether you're new to the game and wondering how to hold a club, or whether you've been playing for years and want to improve a specific part of your game, our pros can help. Each is a fully qualified PGA professional, but more importantly, they're passionate about Farleigh's mission - to put a club in every hand. 

Private lessons for adults and juniors, family clinics and fun introductory sessions are available year-round so you can learn golf at your pace, in a style that suits you.

Paul Babbage, PGA Professional

Favourite golfing memory:

Getting my first hole in one in 2003. It was on the 11th on Sundridge Park’s East course; a wonderful feeling.

Shain Johnson, PGA Professional


Shain was born and raised in Zimbabwe, coming from a golfing family. He is a graduate and former player at the University of Pretoria where he received his Bachelor of Science specialising in golf. Shain has continued to further his education in becoming a Titleist Performance Institute (TPI) certified coach, he currently holds Golf Level Two and Junior Level Two advanced status.

With more than 10 years in the industry, Shain has been an advocate for golf and fitness, helping golfers understand the game in mind, body and swing. His enthusiastic approach to coaching helps golfers achieve their full potential to enjoy the game.

Shain has a great passion for youth golfers, he believes that through fundamental movement skills and sport-specific skills, any junior can be a great golfer. His fun junior sessions help kids develop as individuals as well as golfers.

He says: "Golf is more than 'just a game', you learn valuable life lessons, so start young."
