Shain Johnson, PGA Professional

Born in Zimbabwe, and coming from a golfing family, Shain learnt to play golf during the school holidays at junior camps. He started playing on a Sunday morning with his father and brother, who all became very competitive as the years went by - with his brother playing off a 0, and dad off a two - there was no time for games!

Shain went on to represent Zimbabwe at a junior and senior level before moving to South Africa where he played for his university and completed a BSc specialising in golf. In 2011, Shain turned professional playing on the Zambezi and Sunshine Tour.

Shain’s enthusiastic approach to the game allows him to help others maximize their potential in golf, giving them the opportunity to grow and enjoy the game in their own capacity. Shain coaches all ages, adapting his skills and knowledge to each individual's needs and abilities, as well as helping them understand more about the game.

‘Bad shots fuel my passion for the game’
