Our story and plans...
A personal message from Marc Hayton:
I wanted to experience what Dad felt when he came to Foxhills in '83. Foxhills was very different to the Club it is today. I took my mother to see Farleigh on her birthday. "It's got good bones" was her verdict.
So why do it and why now?
I wanted to experience what Dad felt 28 years ago when he first set eyes on Foxhills. To look past its flaws, seeing only its potential. Dad joked how there were 8 kinds of carpet just in the Manor lounge at Foxhills. Perhaps the Farleigh equivalent was carpet in the gents toilet. Don't ask.
Dad knew about Farleigh, but never saw it. Shortly after he passed away, mum asked if I was sure the acquisition was the right thing to do. The conversation ended with her support secured, "On one condition," she intoned, "you make Farleigh fun".
And it is. Even in these early, slightly haphazard days.
As ever it's your Farleigh and I want to hear your ideas.
Our Plans
Over the next 12 months £1.2m will be invested into our 16,000sqft Clubhouse alongside £1m on the Championship Courses transforming Farleigh into the Gastro Chic destination that you deserve; a place to relax, unwind and be looked after. Please excuse my sales speak but I have a very passionate Marketing Manager that has been having fun with ways to describe our new look and who will be hot on my heels if I say anything against her new brand.
It leaves me with one thing to say, enjoy Farleigh, it is yours and I want to hear your thoughts.
Enjoy.

PS have a look in our photo gallery for our plans, I hope you agree they look fantastic.
